Known Trivia

  • Four actors (Jesse James, Reiley McClendon, Garret Sato and Tom Sizemore) also starred in Pearl Harbor.
  • Released in early 2009 on DVD as ‘Sky Kids’ in Europe. Despite being a US film, the release on DVD there is scheduled for summer 2010.
  • At one point, J. Todd Adams was forced to put down his gun prop by the town’s law enforcement. The production team explained and he was soon allowed to continue.
  • Although filmed in Utah and Nevada, the film is set in Arizona: the cars have Arizona license plates (at 01:32:08, 10:50, 21:31, 45:21, 01:18:49 and 01:27:32 in 99 minute version) and the boys land on Highway 89 near Cooper, Arizona (in newspaper at 01:29:46 in 99 minute version).

Goofs: Continuity: When Kyle and Jason are playing in the "dungeon" with Angelo and all three are on the sofa with Kyle on top of Angleo as Angelo's bodyguard comes into the room, you can see Kyle's blue underwear (at 56:03 and 56:08 to 56:10 in 99 minute version). Later, when Lenny pulls Kyle out of the trunk (boot) of the car at the airport, he has white underwear (at 01:12:48 to 01:12:50).

Synopsis: Two boys from a small town find their courage tested when theyaccidentally stow away aboard an airplane owned by the mob.

Jason and Kyle, friends from different sides of the track, becomeembroiled in the adventure of their lives when they discover amysterious airplane at the local airport. The boys sneak aboardfor a look but are forced to hide in the luggage compartment whentwo men climb aboard. Soon they find themselves airborne over theopen Arizona desert. After hours in the air the boys unwittinglyuncover a bomb in the luggage compartment. But when they burstinto the cabin to report their discovery, they find that everyoneon board has bailed out. The boys must now take the controls andland the plane themselves. But their troubles are only justbeginning…
